The Tourism Industry is largely missing out on NSW's best natural easy-access tourism assets in the Pittwater region of Northern Beaches.  The closeness to International inbound travel and intrastate recreational demand for the beauty and inspiration of a natural amenity is a key competitive opportunity for Northern Beaches.   To leverage this significant resource, the Mona Vale Chamber has stepped forward on behalf of our Members to become the lead partner to bring the integration of Tourism services together through one of our key Chamber semi-autonomous Divisions.

The State Government had some investment in this space, as does Northern Beaches Council with their recent funded report on Destination Northern Beaches before the State Government abandoned their Industry Authority, Destination NSW.

Mona Vale Chamber has the view that their loss is our gain.

The Chamber's developing FutureNB plan including Tourism development and facilitation aligned with the Greater Sydney Planning Scheme for the north part of Northern Beaches guideline is what we have to work with.   Any such planning scheme is leveraged off  available Accommodations and Transport infrastructure that is indicative of what Government sees for the development of the local area infrastructure and amenities.  Our Tourism Division Members would then provide the Programs and Services to facilitate the delivery of the events and experiences Northern Beaches has to offer.

Mona Vale Chamber is seeking  expressions of interest for additional Hospitality, Accommodation and Tour Investments for the Tourism Industry.  The Mona Vale Chamber would then laise with key stakeholders in any planning scheme and development for submitted ideas and proposals for strategic investments.
